Questions on advertising my mother’s business?

Hey, my mom has a business on Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/marsofvenus?page=2
She sells stuff like beads, Pandora style beads, bags, and jewelry making material. She wants to pay me 200 bucks to adervise for her. I have no idea how to..I would like to start with Facebook page, and a Twitter. Can you guys PLEASE give me some advice. If you browse my mom’s shop and like something, email me and I can give you a coupon.

Facebook page would be a good place to start. Invite everyone you and her know and then ask them to invite their friends.

Etsy has some paid opportunities that will allow you to pay for placement on their homepages. They are reasonable and could be worth it.

I think your best bet would be word of mouth, though. Get as may people as you know on Facebook and then give away some jewelry if they recommend friends or comment on a post. Also, you could do some printed cards with her etsy url and hand them out.

I would also recommend a Facebook Marketing course that my company offers for free over email.
